Chocolate Chip Cookies

Enjoy these fresh, gooey and hot from the oven with – what else? – an ice cold glass of Silk.

Makes about 60 cookies

Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon 2 ml Salt
12 ounces 360 ml Semisweet chocolate chip
1/2 cup 125 ml Brown sugar
1 cup 250 ml Unsalted butter
1/2 cup 125 ml Sugar
1/4 cup 50 ml Silk Vanilla or Silk Plus Omega-3 DHA
2 1/4 cups 550 ml Flour
1 teaspoon 5 ml Vanilla
1 teaspoon 5 ml Baking soda

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Using and electric mixer or sturdy wooden spoon, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Slowly add Silk, mix well, then add the vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and stir to blend. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoons on buttered or parchment-lined cookie sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
