Love the Silk for Coffee. Much tastier than dairy cream and nicer to animals. Sometimes hard to get, as grocery stores don't stock enough. Always buy more when I open my second last one.

- Susanne
I have been using Silk for about 4 years and I love it. I no longer enjoy coffee if I don't have my Silk! Please keep making it.

- Jo
I tried the Silk for coffee and I love it. The only problem I have is finding grocery stores that carry it. I live in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada and would love to know what grocery stores carry Silk for Coffee. Tks

As I drink your other products and enjoy them, I would like to comment and ask about the palm oil used in your coffee product. Who is the supplier that Silk purchases the palm oil? As you mentioned below, you source from sustainable producers. Is there no other product out there to give the creamer a smooth, creamy texture?
Sincerely
K.S.

Can someone explain why the odd carton of Silk for Coffee is reeaalllly thick. It doesnt appear to be off or smell bad, but it weirds me out. Whats going on? Should it still be consumed? should I return it to store?
Thought it was my bad luck but two different stores and I had the same thing happen. Also had a friend ask me if I had encountered the problem too. So its not just me.....
Otherwise I really enjoy thid product and would like to see it in bigger, recyclable containers. Thanks :)

I work on the brand team for Silk. Thank you for your feedback and questions. The reason we use palm oil in our coffee because it enhances the smooth and creamy texture of Silk for Coffee soy beverage. And unlike other tropical oils, palm oil's impact on blood cholesterol levels compares favourably to corn oil and olive oil. Our ingredient, also, comes from a supplier who produces palm oil in an ethical and sustainable manner. Partnering with producers who value sustainable business is an important part of Silk's mission to help increase the health of the planet.

As a vegetarian trying to become Vegan I just love your products.
Why would you put Palm Oil in Silk for coffee - isn't this bad for your health?
Why is Silk Chocolate (light) not avail able in Canada?
Can you please put silk for coffee in a larger container as we use a lot of it.

- Ken
I really really do love the Silk coffee whitener but I to am curious about the use of Palm Oil in this product?? I am on my way to the store to buy the vanilla and Choc for my kids to try and me to try in my coffee. Love Love this product!!! saved me from alot of pain with cream in my coffee.

As Kara who previously posted a comment about your use of Palm Oil in Silk Coffee creamer, I am curious to know why a company that is so concerned with creating a "healthy" alternative to enjoy in coffee would use palm oil in your product. I understand that it is a monetary decision, in that palm oil is one of the cheapest oils available in the world. However, it is widely accepted knowledge in the scientific and medical world that saturated fat promotes heart disease and palm oil has one of the highest concentrations of saturated fat of any oils. It is great that it does not contain cholesterol, but that is because it is from a vegetable source, which is good, but it still is high in fat that is not good for you. Also, it is also a global concern that the countries that produce most of the palm oil in the world do so without much regard to the enviornment, global warming and the destruction of precious habitat of many endangered animals and plants.
In light of all of this, why would Silk put palm oil in it's "healthy" products like Silk Coffee creamer?

Christa, thanks for reaching out about the transtion from organic to natural soybeans. We made this change for a couple reasons. One, we are trying to keep the cost of our products down to make them more affordable to consumers. In addition, expanding our use of non-GMO beans allows us to source all of our soybeans in North America. Supporting domestic farmers is extremely important to us, as is our environmental footprint. We are working with Conservation International on soybean sourcing guidelines for non-GMO beans. Please refer to the "Our Responsibility" section of this site to learn more about our sourcing program with Conservation International.

Up until recently I used Silk for Coffee every day. That is until I took a closer look at the new packaging and realized that Silk stopped listing organic soybeans as an ingredient, switching to "natural soybeans" instead. Not only was I disappointed, I felt a little ripped off as the price of the product hadn't gone down to reflect the lower quality of the new ingredients. Silk, go back to using organic soybeans, or I'll be drinking my coffee black until a competitor comes along with an organic alternative.

Awesome beverage - surely goes super well with coffee & tea! But I find the Silk for Coffee is too small for a heavy coffee drinker like me. Look forward to a bigger size. Thanks!

- Ariel
I too have just gone non-dairy but am having a hard time locating the product. Sobey's says they cannot get it after having it as a trial, and Safeway does not always have it on the shelf, either they do not bring in enough and it is sold quickly or they are shorted on their delivery. How can I ensure that it is available? Also a larger container would be more user friendly and economical. Cheryl

I love all of your silk beverages and include them as part of my healthy diet and lifestyle. My only concern is the palm oil used in your otherwise healthy soy creamer. I would love to see a healthier oil replace this saturated fat. Other than this, keep up the great work!

- Kara
Is there a Silk Capucinno ?

- Diane
Why does the creamer curdle and float on the top of my coffee and tea? Also, how about putting this in recyclable cans rather than non-recyclable tetra packs? Like Carnation evaporated milk?

- James
@Lindsay, I work on the brand team for Silk. Thank you for the suggestion on the tetra package for Silk for Coffee. We have considered this as well as larger size cartons. We are glad you enjoy the creamer product and we are working on new innovations to bring you more options. Thanks again.

- Toby
i would really like to see the vanilla and hazelnut flavours offered in Canada.

@kari. if you want a dairy replacement w/o sugar, just use regular soymilk. coffee creamers are almost always meant to replace milk and sugar.

- Julie
I have just gone non-dairy, and was excited to find Silk for coffee. But as someone who has never used sugar in coffee, I would love to see and unsweetened version.

- kari
I totally L-O-V-E 'Silk for Coffee'...have used it every day for about 6 months now!!! Coffee just does NOT taste as good without it!!! Valerie Yes...I would like to know the answers to Lindsay's questions....I wonder about that too!

- Valerie
I love silk soya creamer. I was wondering if you will ever make the product in a tetra package so you can travel with it. Also, having a larger package in general would be great so I don"t have to go to the store so often. Thanks
